What's your story?

I'm fascinated with people and their lives. 

I've thought of stopping people and asking them, "Hey, what's with your life? What excites you? What do you love? What's your story?" 

The sweaty rikshawallah counting the change...the cheerful chaiwallah brewing the morning chai...the blue-line bus driver with a bad bad temper...the calm flower seller sitting along the road needling the genda phool (marigold) into garlands...persistent kids trying to sell heart-shaped balloons....li'l girls and boys in neatly starched school uniforms with a spark in their eyes, tugging hefty bags...the young couple walking with their hands entwined...the rajashtani potter living along the road in a make-shift tent, lost in her art while the buses and autos whiz past...

I've always wanted to know...people...their stories...
